An Idea Born from a Word
At the origin of DJ VAVRE, there is a word: vavrer. A term used for years within Péo’s universe and among those close to him, especially by his friend Bélou - to whom credit must be given where credit is due.
Around this word, several derivatives were born: vavrezine, vavrance, anti-vavrezine, auto-vavrance, and a whole way of describing situations where we succeed, get played, self-sabotage, or, on the contrary, take back control.
Over time, these words became much more than inside jokes between friends. They became a language, an attitude, almost a philosophy: vavrer or getting vavred. Succeeding or failing. Coming out on top or getting screwed over. Moving forward with clarity or falling into the traps of vavrezine.
The Encounter with Artificial Intelligence
When the era of creative AI arrived, Péo began experimenting with different music generation tools. One day, a song was created around the term vavrezine. The result was funny, unexpected, and surprisingly effective. What could have remained a simple joke then became the starting point for a much broader project.
That is when the character of DJ VAVRE was born: a new AKA, somewhere between producer, curator, conceptual beatmaker, and artistic director. Behind the controls is Péo, with his ideas, lyrics, concepts, musical and visual directions, using artificial intelligence as a creative tool to bring an original universe to life.
Who Is DJ VAVRE Really?
DJ VAVRE is not just an artist name. It is a creative role. Behind the project, Péo drives the ideas, concepts, directions, lyrics, atmospheres, references, and visuals. AI comes in as a production tool, but the intention, humor, universe, and coherence come from a human mind.
DJ VAVRE is therefore the meeting point between personal creativity, hip-hop culture, digital experimentation, and conceptual humor. The goal is not simply to “make songs with AI,” but to build a recognizable universe, with its own codes, vocabulary, messages, and energy.
Three Albums in 2024
In 2024, DJ VAVRE developed the concept through three complete musical projects. The first, Vavrezine Française, explores the term within a French-speaking universe. The second, English Vavrezine, adapts it into English with different sounds and a more international approach. The third, International Vavrezine, pushes the idea even further with tracks in several languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, Lingala, and Zulu.
Rap, pop, afro, zouk, house, experimental sounds, or more accessible tracks: DJ VAVRE explores different styles with one common idea at the heart of each song: bringing the vocabulary of vavrezine to life through music.
DJ VAVRE and Les Rénovateurs De Flow
In 2026, DJ VAVRE also takes on a new dimension through the work done around Les Rénovateurs De Flow.
The projects L’Originel 26.0 and L’Anthologie Dévavré bring back to light tracks from the 2000s, reworked, remixed, and modernized with new productions.
These remixes create a bridge between archives from the past and today’s creative tools. The voices, energy, and original spirit of the group are preserved, while the instrumentals and musical atmosphere are reimagined with a more current approach.
Technically, these productions also carry DJ VAVRE’s signature: that of a creator who recycles, restores, transforms, and brings back into motion ideas that deserved a second life.
A Universe Larger Than Music
The DJ VAVRE RECORDS project is part of a wider universe built around Vavrezine. A website was created to present the definitions of the terms, their spirit, and their cultural potential. A clothing collection, Vavrezine AVC, for Anti-Vavrezine Clothing, is also being developed, with first samples already available. An NFT collection has also been created, extending the concept into the world of Web3 and digital creation.
A few video skits have already been produced by Péo, with more planned. The goal is simple: to bring these words to life, repeat them, stage them, make them understandable, funny, useful, and perhaps one day establish them in everyday language.
To Vavre or to Get Vavred
Deep down, DJ VAVRE is built around one simple sentence:
The world is divided into two categories: those who vavre, and those who get vavred.
Through music, remixes, videos, clothing, and upcoming projects, DJ VAVRE aims to turn an expression born between friends into a true artistic universe. A universe where failure, success, sabotage, clarity, perseverance, and anti-vavrezine are explored — but always with creativity, humor, and originality.
The Next Chapter of the Adventure
The DJ VAVRE adventure is only just beginning. More tracks, remixes, compilations, and visual projects will come to life. Physical copies, CDs, vinyls, collector’s items, and merchandise could also accompany the evolution of the project.
But the real grail may lie elsewhere: seeing real artists perform DJ VAVRE’s songs. Giving these tracks a new human life, having them carried by voices, presence, stages, and music videos.
That would be the ultimate step: starting from a word invented between friends, turning it into a musical concept through AI, and then bringing it back into the real world through artists capable of fully embodying it.
DJ VAVRE is therefore more than a musical project. It is a constantly evolving creative experience, between archives, artificial intelligence, humor, language, hip-hop culture, and anti-vavrezine ambition.
