A Personal Selection of Proverbs

100 Proverbs is an illustrated book bringing together a personal selection of proverbs, sayings, and adages brought to life visually.

Ever since I was young, I have always been sensitive to these short phrases that can convey a strong idea in just a few words. Some proverbs may seem simple at first, but take on a different meaning with age, experience, or perspective.

The project is based on a simple idea: to choose 100 proverbs that speak to me and present them visually, without explanation or analysis.

Proverbs Brought to Life Visually

Each proverb is presented in French and accompanied by an illustration.

The goal is to create a simple dialogue between the phrase and the image. Some visuals are minimal, others more detailed, but the idea remains the same: to let the proverb exist on its own, with an image that supports it.

The reader can go through the book in order or open it at random, as if coming across a phrase that resonates differently depending on the moment.

The Digital Version and the Physical Version

100 Proverbs will first be available in digital version, as a PDF e-book.

This version will allow readers to discover the 100 illustrated proverbs in a simple and easy-to-view format.

A physical version of the book is also planned. The goal is to later offer a printed work that can be kept, browsed through, and passed on.

The NFT Collection

The 100 Proverbs NFT collection brings together the 100 illustrations from the book as digital collectible pieces.

Available on OpenSea, it works through a random reveal system: when an NFT is purchased, the visual obtained is revealed from among the 100 illustrations in the collection.

If all 100 NFTs are sold, the proceeds from the collection will help support the production of the physical version of the book.

Holders of at least one NFT will then receive a 20% discount on the physical version of 100 Proverbs once it becomes available.
