This is what ChatGPT gave me when I asked for a list of 10 AI tools/websites/applications that could be useful for many people in various fields.
We have officially entered the AI era. There was the internet era, the mobile phone era, flat screens, online shopping, cryptocurrencies... and now AI, which, in my opinion, is going to become indispensable.
Someone once said, "It's not AI that will replace humans, but rather humans who use AI will replace those who don't." When you understand the scope and power of tools like ChatGPT, Suno, and others, you realize the phenomenal time-saving benefits these applications can offer.
For example, web searches with ChatGPT, business plans, cover letters, text summaries, data analysis... things that could take weeks are now done in a few hours. Another example is with Suno. From a prompt of fewer than 200 characters, it generates a sound, music, or track, very professionally, and in just seconds. With impeccable instruments, voices, and lyrics. It's truly amazing... Go try it for yourself! There are 5 free uses before you need to subscribe to a paid plan.
All this to say that AI tools are so beneficial for increasing productivity, saving time, and enhancing creativity that it would be a shame to miss out. Of course, there can be downsides, like with fake photos or even videos (with the infamous "deepfake"). But just as a hammer can be used improperly, it's the same with AI. For now, in July 2024, all these AI applications and tools could serve you in one way or another.
We'll see later if certain drawbacks become too problematic. Personally, I see it as an advancement and a beneficial tool, much like the internet or Bitcoin, and I encourage you to try some of these sites and applications for yourself to form your own opinion.
While we're on the subject, and to finish on an artistic note, I recommend the film "Her," which is one of my top 100 favorite films and deals with the topic of AI in an unconventional way.
In the meantime, take care, and happy prompting ;)
